Snuggles

Cakie and I are friends! She gave me hugs, and we took a nap. Nudge and I enjoyed a long conversation.

More Metro Bash Memories

More memories from the Tri-State Metro Bash...

Sharon shared her lunch... So did Walli. Sharon Scully admired my hat too -- she has excellent taste.

Repawting on the Metro Basset Halloween Bash

The rain tried to dampen our day... but we're bassets! We don't let a little drizzle stop our fun (okay, we did wait til SUNDAY so we wouldn't get all wet -- but that's just smart planning). Since it's the HALLOWEEN bash, I got a special hat and hair! How do I look?

I remember Sharon Wilder from Pittsburgh! We went to the symphony. I remember Hank and Fanny May too from Boardwaddle. Fanny May told me some secrets about Gramma Cakie!

And of course I had to help Dawn and Rich hawk the best basset crap for Tri-State Basset Rescue! And I got to hang out with all the celeb-bassets... Nudgie is my friend. Auntie Donna runs the Metro Bash but took time to pose with a plush pup.

Nudgie and I landed in jail!

Relaxing in New Jersey

I'm back here in New Jersey for the big Metro Basset Halloween Bash (I always have such a good time here) ... so naturally I had to stop for a bite! I worked up quite an appetite, and we stopped at a local diner. Of course, I saved room for dessert! Some pastry would be nice.

Then I went to work with my foster mom Dawn. What is this Golden Hot Dog Award for, huh!? She says it is for the Boardwaddle... but I wonder.

We went home and rested up for the big bash. I like the basset corner of the front porch. I'll post pix and stories shortly... it was a BLAST!

Walkin' and Waddlin' on the Mall

Whew! I was a busy waddlin' hound last weekend. I waddled in the Walk for the Animals in Washington, D.C. We had a glorious day!

I stopped by the Emergency Preparedness booth to learn what I needed to have ready for any emergency! The volunteers were great -- I think they liked me a lot!

I met Cocoa the Boston Terrier and tried my paw at agility.

I was a proud member of the Bark N Bubbles team (I'm riding safely in Pat's backpack -- she is kneeled center front with Diesel her BROOD adoptee).

When it was all done, Diesel and I had to take a nap to recuperate! Whew! I was one tired pupster!
